Requirements
- 1 Fat Quarter – Monster Body and Tentacles
- 1 Fat Eighth – Apron Front and Back
- 1 Fat Eighth – Apron Pocket and Hat
- 1 Fat Eighth – Monster Base
- 2” x 2” scrap of White felt – Monster Eyes and Teeth
- 2” x 1 ½” scrap of Black felt – Monster Pupils and Mouth
- 2” x 2” Scrap of Felt (to contrast with body fabric) – Tentacle Pads
- Fibrefill or stuffing
- 7” x 2” rectangle of Heavy, Iron-On Interfacing
- 7” square of Light, Iron-On Interfacing
- 30cm (12”) piece of Freezer Paper (18”or about 46cm wide off the roll)*
- Disappearing fabric marker of your choice
- 6 stranded Embroidery Floss (For Chef’s Hat and Apron Pocket)
- Embroidery needle (such as a crewel 3-6)
- 44” (1.1m) Length of ¼” wide ribbon, tape or ric-rac, for apron ties
- Fray stopper or clear nailpolish(optional)
* If you can’t get hold of freezer paper, paper or card templates are fine, freezer paper templates are just easier.
