Dream Come True

1st 10 Matching Pegs Patterns

As anyone who reads this blog knows, I have been working towards launching my sewing patterns for quite a while now.  I have been designing and making original things for years, (I made the “Spacewalk” quilt for Rory when he was 2, and now he is 10) and I am so excited that I am getting the chance to share them with the world.4 Matching Pegs Patterns

This weekend I am launching them with Creative Abundance at Australian Quilt Market, which is a trade show.  I was so excited when Creative Abundance took me on.  Not only do they distribute to Quilting and Patchwork shops worldwide, but they are warm, friendly people with integrity and a real team attitude.Another 4 Matching Pegs Patterns

The first 8 patterns will be ready for sale as soon as the retailers start buying them.  Once I know who will be selling them, I will add a “stockists” page here so that you can find them too.Two Matching Pegs patterns available in December 2012

The last two will be available later in December.   Apologies for the very reflective photos.  I will take them out of the plastic envelopes and take individual photos in the weeks to come, when I do some GIVEAWAYS.  Right now though, I am too busy getting the last of my samples ready for this weekend.  I have a couple more faces to sew onto Monsters Chefs and a few ribbons to tie and pegs to decorate!  If you are a retailer, and will be visiting the show, come and say hi.  I will be the slightly nervous one, with a big grin on my face.

  1. Congratulations! I know from my local patchwork shop that when she orders her stuff from Creative Abundance, it comes promptly.
I do hope that I see your patterns at Ballarat Patchwork soon. But I know Erica will more than likely put them in at Under the Mulberry Tree, so I can always get one there. I sooooo want the Bunnies!
    Best wishes

  2. I totally cried when reading this post – BEST NEWS EVER and you are a complete superstar. I\’m SO excited for you – what an amazing achievement. You have *always* been an inspiration to me as a friend, mother, daughter, and sister – and now, too as a businesswoman.

From little things, big things grow.

    • Oh Michelle,
You are the loveliest friend, your comment mans a lot to me (understatement).

Your Monster Chef enjoyed hanging out at AQM, but can’t wait to come and live in your awesome cake kitchen – his/her natural habitat.

  3. Oh my goodness, I’ve been busy and totally missed this. Congratulations, I’m late to the party but that is fantastic news. Your patterns look sensational, I just love the bunny in particular. That play tent is fabulous too. Great work.
