Bunny Factory

Making lots of Bunnies and Quilts from the "Sleepy Bunny" pattern by Matching Pegs

I’m frantically getting ready to launch my patterns with Creative Abundance at next week’s Australian Quilt Market, which is a trade fair.  At the moment I have a “Sleepy Bunny” factory going.  I’m really pleased with how they are turning out, and with the fabrics that I have chosen, very sweet.  The perfect gift to commemorate the birth of a new baby.Baby Arden with his "Sleepy Bunny".

See, nothing sweeter!

Here is something else, that in a strange way is also sweet – the tune sure gets into your head.  We have been singing it here all day, since we discovered it this morning.

Next time I post, I hope to share with you a finished quilt, but in the meantime I just wanted to share a peek of Anita’s beautiful quilting.  This is the back of my quilt.

Isn’t it fabulous!

*I bet the tune is now stuck in your head too :-).

    • Thanks Robyn.

Yes, I’m really lucky to have that photo. It is of my nephew when he was a few days old, (at the start of the year).
I gave him the bunny in the hospital, and the hospital photographer took the photo the next day.
At that stage, I didn’t even know that I would be releasing it as a pattern.

  1. I knew better than to watch that little video…yep, that tune will be in my head the rest of the day. (Just hope I don’t start singing it when I’m out shopping or something!) And, oh my goodness, what a sweet photo of that baby with your sleepy bunny. That is a one-in-a-million shot! Good luck with your pattern launch.

    • Hi Becky,
It really is an ear worm isn’t it!

It is going on the pattern cover, for sure!

  2. I’ve had a lot of fun catching up with your blog posts. Have a wonderful time launching your patterns, I’m sure they will be a huge success.
I agree that is the cutest photo ever.
