Luke and I are off to my cousin Janet’s wedding this afternoon, (to a chap known as Pengy – I have to hear that story). I am expecting it to be pretty stylish – Janet studied Fashion Design at the same University as we did, while we were studying Industrial Design. The invitations are Art Deco in style, as I know the venue for the reception is – Luke and I had ours there 12 1/2 years ago. I am really looking forward to seeing the Wedding Gown, which Janet has made herself.
The invitation requested no presents, but I think hand made gifts contravene those rules, don’t you?
It has been a long time that I have been hoarding these beautiful Ink and Spindle fabrics (Birch Forest and Acaia) for just the pefect project. I thought they went splendidly with the Grunge fabric I just received in the post. Hopefully this is a nicely understated and stylish gift for the happy couple.
The cushion looks great Claire. I hope the wedding was an inside one! Or did you miss all the rain?
I went to her wedding too. It was amazing! I think she will love the cushion, its beautiful!
