Mostly pictures – no time to talk…..
I have finished the front of my cushion. I am really pleased with it, and it was worth changing a few of the applique pieces for better contrast.
It is a flower with two leaves – but it seems most people can’t see it.
I am going to make it into the cushion cover as soon as I get a chance.
It seems I am repeating myself, because I am creating it again, as a painting.
Do you repeat yourself creatively?

That’s beautiful, I love the colours you used.
And I must admit I didn’t see the flower at first either. I thought it looked a bit like a bunny or little dog’s face

i love the idea of drawing it out on large scale from the beginning! i am always trying to enlarge my sketches. wonderful pillow too— love it.

I’ve heard it said that every artist has three themes (or motifs) to which they always return. I know that aplies to me. I think you may have just identified one of your own!
