I really truly hope that the outlook is a little brighter now, and if not, that you have managed to take a step back and relax a little. Claire, I’m so sorry you’ve had a traumatic weekend. I really hope that everything works out for the best for your family member.
We cannot afford to move or extend, but I also desperately want more space and a sewing studio would be heaven! Our car doesn’t fit in our garage either, so I have been wondering about whether it is “convertable”. Unfortunately, I suspect that even that will cost more than we can afford right now.
By the way, your sunset painting is stunning, even in its damaged state.

I can completely relate to the ‘too much stuff, not enough space’ issue. I think it will be an ongoing problem for us for some time though.
