Lotta
Meet the newest member of the Matching Pegs household, Lotta, the Moodle. A Moodle is a cross between a Maltese and a Toy Poodle, so she is pretty small.
We brought her home this afternoon, and we are all in love. We had been discussing a dog for a while, and this little ray of sunshine is exactly what we needed with all the sadness around us at the moment.
We have prepared as much as we could, but we have already discovered that Lotta fits between the bars in the baby-gate that we had set up in the laundry doorway.

One of our (mum’s) dogs is a Cairn Terrier x Poodle. He’s the most pleasant dog I’ve ever known. He’s just lovely, and loving… Similar colouring to your Lotta
Chewy’s first night at home? I slept on the couch, with my hand in his box on his warm little body – it was teh only way I could get him to stop whimpering.
She’s beautiful – you guys will be so happy with her (and she with you!).

We’re expecting our own ‘lotta’ to arrive for a 2 week trial on Monday…and having had no experience of living with a dog (although hubby’s family used to show dogs), I am proceeding with loads of trepidation.
…but then seeing that photo somehow makes me feel less nervous.
