I have used many of those fabrics myself - it's lovely when I see friends' work and they have the same fabric - small world thing etc. :-)  Your swirls are delightful!  I was practicing just that kind of thing on Friday afternoon - tricksy to keep the stitch length even.  I'd be sewing and sewing and sewing and then - skid around a corner and find 1 1/2 inch long stitches - luverly!  But as JMBmommy said the other day - we are creating beautiful and individual items by hand, we are not machines churning out technical perfection.  Can't wait to see your fairy grow - hope you've had lots of stitching over the weekend and your arm is fine! :-)</description>
